Nancy, I am positive that we cannot use our helpsheets on the semester exam; only the formulas that the state provides will be given for reference. As a heads up, everyone should spend the next few days thinking of cool cheers or derivations to make it easier to remember formulas that may be needed. Plus, I bet we all remember more than we think! Allison

I would just try to memorize as many formulas as you can handle, but first, check which ones may be on the formula sheet given to us for the semester exam!

There's a link you can use on our schoolnotes.com page! Or google North Carolina Standard Course of Study Physics You are looking for the Reference Tables!
I'll have copies in class too on test day!

How are people studying for the up coming semester exam?

I think using past practice tests to study might help because they're all in multiple choice form like I think, and hope, the semester exam will be. Flashcards might also help with memorizing formulas that won't be on the formula sheet. Study groups might be a good idea too. I can't believe the exam is on Wednesday! Good luck to everyone

Hey you guys. I think the best thing to do is to redo all of the online hw, since it covers the mathmamatical parts and the concepts too.
Cheers!

I figured the best way to utilize your time for studying is to look at the formula sheet to see what formulas you DON'T have to memorize for the test. Then write down the ones you do have to know on the formula sheet right when the test is handed to you so you don't have the possibility on forgeting during the test!
