Overall, this quarter has been really good. Except for my grades. I don't really like how this class is. I don't like ITS because it gives us too much freedom and we don't learn as much as we would if we were taught more] Thanks]

I hear you (or rather I read you), but one assumption I make when planning instruction, is that in an honors level physics class, most students are college bound. Bailey, I guarantee you that in college, you will NOT be taught much in the classroom. Most of what you will learn is outside of class discussing homework and assignments with your classmates, or perhaps what you read in the textbook and study on your own. Too much freddom in college is a major reason many freshman (or women!) get into academic trouble. Why not start now, in a safe nurturing environment such as ITS, to learn how to learn and become a self reliant learner? Remember, this is an education, not training. If I were training you to be scientists, I would use a much different approach with lots of lectures, worksheets, quizzes, and tests.....what many students consider busy work and boring.
