Light is a fascinating topic that can be explored in numerous ways. Listed here are general questions related to light that students have asked in class....or I just like to ask students. Please contribute your questions about light so we can build a list of questions for future students to ponder.
Can you capture a light beam? In other words can you slow light down from 186,000 miles per second, to zero?
What is bioluminesense?
Why is the sky blue and sunsets red or orange?
Can you hear light?
Can you see sound? (Well not a light question, but still interesting).
Please continue to post your questions. Answering questions too (via email, not here!) is a good way to make physics relevant ---- and earn XC!

How does light (or anything in the electromagnetic spectrum) move? I mean, in a vaccum, there is no medium so, again, how does it move? I know that it's not a mechanical wave which needs a medium, but this is the concept that is tripping me up.
