I don't know about anyone else, but the extra stuff, i.e. tangents, make the class lectures just that much more enjoyable. I know that they take away from our precious "Student Mode" time, but they were very enjoable; at least to me they were. I'm not sure that this will change the class lectures, but at the beginning of the year the lectures were much funnier and enjoyable.

I do need to stay on topic for class lectures....usually the Overview and the Do (Knows). But I'll go off on tangents during student mode if asked! I like tangents too!

Tangents usually tie the subject into real life...or allow Mr. Fisher to tell an unrelated joke...either way, I don't mind them, really.

If anything, Mr. Fisher's tangents and assorted tales are a source of ridiculous yet down-to-earth and hackneyed lessons that "tie into life." I see them as little beside mildly hilarous anecdotes that precede a "class."

:)i like tangents. They are quite entertaining. I like to be able to talk about how things relate or i like to talk about just fun stuff that isn't quite relevant. Jokes are cool too. I'm a fan
