Do you guys have ideas for the motion lab. it sounds really cool to be able to actually put physics to the test. we should try out some of those equations we learned today. i'm excited.

Me too! The motion lab sounds fun. I haven't really gotten any ideas for it yet. I may meet Mr. Fisher down at the track next week and do that as my lab because I like running so that would be kinda cool. I'm not sure though. Anna

sounds awsome. i can't run! lol. we should try out that one idea where if you drop 2 things and there is no air resistance it hits the ground at the same time. that sounds interesting. i'm not sure that is and equation of motion though....how about acceleration?

Next week i'm going to try the mac. the laser video disc is so awsome. you can pase it and work as a group and the script mr. fisher uses is great b/c you don't have to write everything down, just the important stuff. then you have to write explinations and relate it to the everyday world. it helped me learn.

The MAC really helped me. You take a couple of notes from it and then you do some problems. It sums up what you need to know well and problems help you with practice. I want to do the LVD soon. It sounds cool!

I'm writing my physics poems. we have to write 3 and he only gave us 2 topics so i'm planning to do my next one on scalars and vectors. each one is 8 lines...i hope that's enough...don't you think so?

which problems are you doing in the book? it's kind of intimidating to want to solve the problems. i don't want to draw...i want to solve...lol. you know what i mean. i did all the verbal problems on page 60 (or most of them) then i got bored of them and i decided to do the ones on 61. i try to mix it up. get a little bit of everything.

Me too, I love the mini-lectures! First I was really confused with ITS since I came into the class late, but now I'm understanding it a little better! I think 8 lines are fine. I wrote my poems tonight and they're all about 8 lines.

Do yours rhyme? mine are kind of odd..odd but halerious. i think i'll do fine. i like poems. believe it or not, they help you remember. i dunno if it's b/c it rhymes or b/c you write it yourself. lol

i'm still a bit confused on drawing diagrams. like where to put what unit and how to draw it. i did 17, and am attempting 19. i'll read that part of the chapter today and i'll get it. Oh boy did that base ball example help. i was so lost without it.

why are these posts so slow?? it's probably just anna! j/k. i don't have anymore questions. my job here is done. check your e-mail for another update on when we are going to meet. we'll have another get together for ch. 5 HW and before tests and stuff. i'm so glad computers are being introduced in our school system this year.
