One of the ingredients for success in any subject is to study hard, even over study! With 8 classes, that's hard to do, so learn to study "smart". Some contracts, such as PQ, GQ, HW, and the Practice Tests will help more than the fun contracts such as poetry, copying blue sentences, and the ABC's of Physics. Email me and I'll provide specific advice tailored for each student. I want you to do well! Mr Fisher

I would have to say that the higher ranked members of the A team were born with a talent for math. They do not have to work hard at a concept to understand it and excell at it. However, for the plebians who are not born with an innate brilliance, it can take hard work and lots of practice. Physics quizzes, glencoe quizzes, and the book have excellent examples to practice with. So, good luck and hope you join the A team, it would be interesting to see all of the people on it by the end of the year.
