PEOPLE! Post under your own names!!! Especially YOU HENRY! Then maybe everyone can actually tell who's saying what and what is it we're supposed to have said. If you're too chicken to use your own name to post something, then DON'T POST IT AT ALL!!!!!!

yeah, im goin to the physics bowl. and (for the extra credit), i find that waves r just a bunch of letters and formulas that can be mixed and matched to form lots of confusing questions. i wouldnt be surprised to find this test another 2-d kinematics test (the one most of the a-team ppl got b's or worse on - except steven...)

Luke, I think Mr. Fisher already signed up a bunch of people for the physics bowl. Those people can choose whether or not to go. Ask Mr. Fisher if he signed you up.

Wait a second......I'm confused here. I just realized that we just did was the UNC thing, not the physics bowl. So what's the physics bowl?

I'm not exactly sure what the "physics bowl" is, if we are eligible then I'm sure Mr. Fisher will let us know well before hand when it's coming up. I think it's a forty question test at the end of the year. Anyways, this class is great and have fun!

Steven, or whoever posted under Steven's name; yeah, I agree that this class is very fun. We get to do things that you definately don't get to do in other classes. Students have more control (of course, that's not always necesssarily a good thing), but you do get to be more creative (such as backwards writing ;D). Anyway, making us do 10 PB problems every unit is very good practice for the actual competition.

What did you guys think about the video we saw today in class? I saw it at the beginning of the year and I thought it was really interesting. I think String Theory is possible, but I guess we'll never know. I really like the stuff on quantum mechanics (the quantum cafe).

Christina, check out this website on string theory, superstringtheory.com/ . It has a basic and an advanced version of each article. I think you might like the advanced versions (whether you'd understand them all is a different matter). ;D
