im starting to get the hang of things like the contracts, etc...
i found the LVD both quicker and easier to learn with then the MACs, so if you don't have as much time, definitely choose the LVD...

I agree with Lucas. The MACs are very very repetitive, and I personally do not like them. The outline of chapter contract is fairly easy too, and its very very helpful. To do it, just skim the chapeter and spend most of the time looking at the study guide at the end of the book (that's what i did, and I got a 99 on the test...)

IMO, the most useful thing is Physics Quizzes becaus you see how to do the problem when you get an answer and an explanation. It can be difficult to learn to do a problem without an example, so Physics Quizzes is great

I'm habituated to physics now. It is rather simplistic if you remember the only key formulas. I mean, its just basic analysis and application. I think I'm understanding everything overall...

Taking one of the hardest tests of my life the day b4 exams is such a stupid thing to do, we are already taking the midterm which is 20% of our grade, so instead of failing 1 test i now have to fail 2 tests, to me it was not a smart idea. I <3 waffles

Physics became one of my favorite classes. ;D
...until this test that we just had. The practice test scared me, and I'm scared to see what the exam tomorrow is going to be like. Although I did absolutely horrible, I think it help me realize what I need to study and make sure that I understand. I think before our next exam, maybe we should do a review day, consisting of some type of jeopardy game, or something. This way we can blend a little ITS with traditional learning styles in order to help every type of learner succeed.

Yeah it scared me too, but surprisingly, I did well...
i still need to study forces/friction and momentum more carefully, doing some more PQ's tonight will help....
i think the EOC will be easier then the practice test, Mr. Fisher always pushes us much harder then what we are going to be tested on so when the real thing rolls around we ace it- and it seems to have worked first quarter, hopefully it'll be the same second quarter....

one of the things that best helps me is going to physics tutoring, it really gives you some one on one time and reinforces everything you learned in your brain, well at least it does for me :]
