ITS physics is great because it helps us understand the materials instead of doing busy work.

I always look forward to coming to physics class on a days because there is a lot of freedom in the class and i have fun learning the material

I like the ITS system but i think there should be an equal time of teacher talking time and student time.

I like the choice of contracts and the smaller groups and working more efficiently [With ITS Physics]

I like the levels guides, and the old book is better than the new book.

My problem with the 'Do Knows' or whatever is that he moves along without letting someone offer a chance to figure it out or even look at it, it's annoying beyond belief when a teacher does that, although Fisher isn't the worst one (Fielding, I'm looking at you right now...) I can slow down somewhat on Do(K)nows, but the main purpose is to at least show students how to set up and solve different types of physics problems. There is a difference between "showing" and "teaching". I do not want Do(K)nows to be a 30 minute presentation. All Do(K)nows do, is to prove I know how to solve physics problems. But I do see your point; a few minutes for "think time" may help make Do(K)nows more instructive! Thanks for the suggestion! Mr Fisher

I don't really want any more do knows, honestly, because I am slightly obsessive compulsive with the way that I take notes and I can't get my notes down right when Mr. Fisher is jumping around infront of the boards. I love that he has so much evergy, but I also need to be able to write things down. However, I wouldn't have anything in that class changed just to accomodate my compulsions- I'll deal with it.

i think it'd be nice if we could consistently do the do (k)nows on powerpoint. either i need glasses or it's just really hard to see from the corner.

hmm.. so far i think that the current unit we are in is very easy to get, but maybe that is just me? for once i don't feel rushed into the test, which is really great because last time during the space unit i knew i wasn't really prepared.. i hope lots of people show up for physics tutoring tmw! i know that it helps me alot!

I like this longer 6 day unit. It has let me really understand the material and not be rushed with anything. I also like this new format with me being able to choose which contract I would like to do from each section.

I actually don't really like the new format for the contracts because it's hard for me to decide which contracts I want to do and which contracts I should do. I like that this is a 6 day unit because we can catch our breath from exams and we can get back into the swing of things in physics.

I don't like the new format either, it confuses me and it sems like there are so many contracts to do. I also dont get as much satsfaction from crossing off a contract when i see so many more i could or still have to do.

Listen up chaps, study your physics and do all your contracts or I shall strike upon you with great vengance.
