ITS physics is a new way to learn, and I think I'm finally starting to get used to it. I believe it would help if Mr. Fisher did more Do Knows and talked slower as he did them, without bringing up other things while he is doing the Do Know.

I didn't like ITS physics at first because I'm a big procrastinator and I didn't know where to start, but after like the first two units, I got the hang of it and now I like it a lot! I improved on my time management skills and there are so many extra credit opportunities that will help raise my grade!

My problem with the 'Do Knows' or whatever is that he moves along without letting someone offer a chance to figure it out or even look at it, it's annoying beyond belief when a teacher does that, although Fisher isn't the worst one (Fielding, I'm looking at you right now...)

The first time I even encountered ITS physics; I was so freaked out about all the contracts that we had to complete! Now, everything seems to be easier. With all the extra credit opportunities, it is easier to bring my grade up on contracts!

I quite like ITS only because it lets me ignore the lectures that seem inherently created only to torture the unfortunate students who are trapped in a class. Therefore, ITS is better to that extent, although being a procrastinator is a negative.

Physics is really really hard. ITS helps though. I can learn at my own speed but it would help if Mr. Fisher taught a little more

I thought the last chapter on projectile motion was really easy. I enjoyed it because I could actually test my answers, and see if it actually works. The only chapter i do not like is space and kinematics. It still haunts me to this day!

I agree with both Katherine and Jill. At first it was basically impossible for me to understand what Mr. Fisher was talking about, but recently he's gotten a lot better about staying on topic and everything.

now that second quarter has come around, i think i am really starting to grasp this whole ITS contracts. I figured out that the contracts are critical and a lot of extra credit can change your grade drastically. I like the balance between lectures, do knows, videos, and student mode. it really helps me learn the concepts in different ways!!! physics rocks!

hmmmmm physics.
i have to say its pretty hard. but thanks to extra credit and like this ITS physics program thing its more fun and for me, easy to understand. because if i understand a concept i can just move on, and then spend extra time on those concepts that i do not understand as much. The longer i am in this class, the easyer it gets, and the more confortable i get with the program thing. now i wish all my classes were like this...
thank you mr.fisher for this completly wonderful experiance. -Annie Schick

Physics can be a really challenging subject with a lot of course work and formulas to memorize, but the way that Mr. Fisher teaches his ITS classes has helped me to grasp the concepts of physics because the program encourages you to work on your own, and it really helps me to better understand the lessons even if the "plug and chug" problems can be challenging sometimes. THANKS MR. FISHER!!!
