i like the idea of student mode and being able to consult with your friends about physics. however, sometimes there is a problem where you just need the teachers help, even if you friend can explain it to you. most of the time mr fisher does get around, but sometimes ive left the class wondering how to do something without it ever being explained to me

I agree with Jonathan. A lot of times another student will be too busy with their own work to help explain a concept or problem, or you just really need the teacher's help.

Yes - it's sometimes hard to learn problems on your own when there's no time for a 'pro' explanation.

I agree also. I think that sometimes our questions don't get answered. And I also know that Mr. Fisher is not a robot. I would like it more if I could talk to hime more personally about problems that I have in class. But otherwise I think the class is going pretty well!

Class is busy, especially in student-mode if there are numerous check-points plus students are doing homework and/or practice test problems.
With the A-TEAM concept, there will be more students available as "class-consultants" to help guide the way on problem solving.
For other issues and burning questions, just be persisent, send me emails, or stop by before/after school, during lunch etc.
We could also do a white board and call it the "Parking Lot" for general questions.

I like the idea of a parking lot.
Then any student could answer if they truly know what they were doing.
Answering five-ten questions could be EC too but that could get messy
doesn't A7 have the best test scores and they post the most hmmm....

i like being able to choose when you want to do each contract and the order in which to do it. you also have the chance to work with your friends to understand the concepts better to do well on the tests. its a good time to ask questions, and help learn the correct ways to solve the difficult problems.

I love student mode! ;D I really like the idea that I get to choose what I want to work on (that's related to physics) during this time period, because I can't always get everything done at home. It's a great time to consult with your friends about a problem you had on the homework assignment. I also liked the idea of the parking lot. What happened to it???

I like student mode because it is a lot more interesting than a teacher just standing up and lecturing. I don't feel as stressed because I do work at my own pace.
