definitely take advantage of the EOC review we will be doing in class and keep up with all that work-- starting reviewing early will help, and it is better to study what you don't know rather than what you do know!

I don't really think that I will be coming to any review sessions, but i hope that the extensive review that i know mr. fisher will do in class will be enough to get me ready i'm not too worried about it, but i will try to do my best

I like that Mr. Fisher gave us an average range. I think it helps to "minimize stress levels" a lot, and also gives us realistic expectations for achievement, although personally, I'm not too worried.

My plans for getting ready for the Physics EOC is by going to the physics tutorials and also looking back at old notes that may help explain some stuff that i may have forgotten. Also asking for any help from Mr. Fisher if there's anything that i don't understand. That's basically it!

I am very worried about the EOC!! i am going to the tutorials after school, and will start really focusing my time on physics, it is going to be very difficult for me to study for all of my other classes as well as having so much pressure to do well on the physics EOC. but i must do well and i really hope i can!

Well, we are taking the practice test tomorrow...but i really don't see why he would give us a test that we have to study for RIGHT before the freakin exam...i don't see any point in it...we SHOULD be reviewing like we are in every one of my other classes. NOT GOOD!! -Anon

The best review is to do sample test problems similar to the actual test. You should review out of class with your study group and classtime is best used for structured quizzes and tests.
As for review, the detailed reviews (white boards) for goals 1-8, and the EOC Tutorials after school, were designed as review opportunities.
At some point you need to stop reviewing and take a test.
Or as someone said, "fish or cut bait".

This year for exams I am trying to not procrastinate. I have started studying for the physics exam now and will continue alittle each day. I am doing the online chapter tests because they review both concepts and plug, chug, and crank problems. They are a great way to review old chapters. Also, I am reminding myself not to stress out. I am definetly going to read through my past tests including the physics quizzes problems. I'm going to get a good nights sleep and a energizing breakfast that morning to secure that I'm ready to do my best.

A study group is an absolute necessity, as well as making sure I understand all the problems on the practice EOC! The physics tutorials really helped review the matieral, so I will go over those problems.

In order to prepare for the EOC, I will be finding and fixing my EOC practice test, going over all the notes that I have taken in class, and get a study group together. The EOC tutorials have also helped me greatly in reviewing! Good luck everyone!

The Regents questions are really good, and I have also found looking over concepts from 2d motion in the book is useful too. For those who haven't tried, I would recommend glancing at the book for stuff you may have forgotten.

I am frantically trying to memorize key equations for tomorrow's test:
F=ma W=(change)KE Range= Vi/\2 cos(2theta) / g Ke=1/2mv/\2 Fc=mv/\2/r I=V/R etc. . .
