This is the place to share successful strategies to prepare for the Physics EOC! Here are a few to get the discussion going.
#1 You will test the way you practice for the test. The #1 thing you can do to ensure success on the EOC is to PRACTICE EOC questions! Where do you find these questions? I'm glad you asked!
The Physics EOC Tutorials are the best places to practice EOC questions if you have been less than an A/B test taker (before finding and fixing) on Fisher Tests and the EOC Quarterlies.
Another great source of EOC-like questions are the NY Regent Practice Exams! See link on schoolnotes.com.

I am planning on getting together a study group, and looking over the information i put on all my help sheets, seeing what i needed to know on those tests, compared to what i know now. I might also rework certain problems from past tests which i found i still do not understand.

making outlines always help me. It shows information in an organized way, and allows you to figure out what materials you know and what you don't know.

I plan on preparing by reviewing all my old contracts, doing as many practice problems as I can, and attending the physics tutorials for EOC practice. I also plan on reviewing old tests I find and fix. Practicing problems is the main focus.

I plan on going to some physics tutorials, reviewing my old test, making a study group, and re-reading and working out problems that I did not understand, to make sure I get them right on the Test!

I am probably going to get a study group together. Thinking with my friends always helps me. ;D I will also look over the study guide in the book, which is located at the end of very chapter. I find that it summarizes the main points of the chapter quite well. There are SO many things you can do to prepare for this exam. I just try to find ways that works best for me.

I will probably do some of the old practice tests and go over the actual tests to make sure I know everything I need to know before test time.

I plan on studying the concepts and chapters that I did not understand well and getting a good night's sleep so I can be mentally prepared for the EOC.

By preparing you need to review, but while taking the test, if you have no idea, illiminate the obviously wrong answers. Also, do not waste your time working on problems that you have no idea how to do. I learned in math today that if it is a hard question, do not pick any answers that have the same numbers as were given in the problem or ones that are "simple". Just thought those would be helpful tips also.[glow=red,2,300][/glow]

Paying attention during in class review time, attending review sessions on difficult concepts and starting to review NOW are probably the best things you can do to get the best grades possible on finals. Leaving studying to the end never works (definitely have learned this one the hard way and I know some of yall have too!) Taking advantage of in class review is the key to doing well in my opinion

I am going to try and attend one or two of the EOC review tutorials. This next unit (the 9 day one) should be key in my review tactics for the EOC. I feel pretty comfortable about it and I think that if I start reviewing early, I'll be good.

I am hoping that this last unit, EOC review, will get me prepared. The stuff i am not so certain about i will go back and look at it some more. Mainly though, the more problems i do the better off i will be on the test! rachael's test-taking strategyies.. aka the ones mrs fielding told us.... should help if you happen to get stuck during the test.
