Hey, Just taking Mr.Fisher's advice and finding out everyone's opinion of the new 4x4 schedual. For me, i can't decide if i like it or not. On the one hand, it does stop you from procrastinating and you get to see your teachers everyday soif you stop in the middle of a lesson you can pick up the very next day instead of having to wait and perhaps forgetting what you learned. But on the other, its a lot of work to keep up and the classes are so fast pace that it makes your head spin to think that progress reports are coming out in two days and the "semester" exams are in October.
But what do you guys think?

it sucks.... period. i am so overworked that i could fall asleep attempting a handstand (not that i would try... but that's the general idea). Come to think of it, i am procrastinating by even posting right now. I suppose to be doing Deutsch hw, physics hw, and study for numerous quizzes and tests (a german quiz on friday and test on monday, C&E quiz friday, Method test tuesday). The genius who came up with this 4X4 is a @#$% *&^%.

4x4 schedule has its up and downs like everything else in this lovely world.. its good because you can focus on the classes you have that term but its also very confusing when it comes to report cards and EOCs...i've asked around because i had some questions about them..but the teachers didn't even know how to answer it...its pretty sad but life isn't fair..and it is what it is..so i guess we have to deal with it.. anndd i hope the panthers win tomrow..yuup

4x4 is both sucky and unsucky. I pretty much hate that you don't get a break from the classes you take on the block scheduling, but I like both of the classes that I have for doing that so it's ok. like a transition from having ms anliker every day, this time it's ms goodloe. i miss ms anliker....anyways, I really think that it's going to be bad with chemistry every day, but I don't even know what ms moore looks like, nevermind what she teaches like. 4x4 would suck if you had the same classes EVERY SINGLE DAY and never got a break. I don't. haha. hybrid scheduling. it's so complicated to remember though, which classes you do and don't have. the days blend together. that's about it.

But you can also make new friends next semester and still keep your old friends! But yes, the 4x4 does seem to be a constant stream of notes, classes, quizzes and tests. I'm still adjusting to the pace. I do enjoy seeing my students every day and overall I'm less stressed about grading 50 student folders than I am 177! Mr Fisher

4x4 is good in some ways, but bad in others. I like the fact that we have the same classes everyday, mostly because i like almost all of my classes and the people in them (plus no english this semester). The bad part is that we have quizzes and tests all the time and you also have one night now to do your hw instead of two.

The 4X4 is very stressful because for half of my classes i have hw every night. Andf for the rest of my classes every other night. (Very confusing).

Oye Vay! Ok so i've decided to take on an actual opinion instead of sitting on the fence. I def don't like the 4x4-its totally messing with our exams. In my opinion, if we're going to have "semester" exams, then we should have half days- just like last year, but we don't. Instead, they mess around with the daily schedual and confuse everyone. And what about those of us who have hybrid scheduals? What are they going to do about the Aday Bday exams?

yea, i agree that either the school system or the school really messed up our midterms. With all the hybrid flying around, i still confused, maybe i should just follow the crowd on the day of exams. and why would the school system give the PSAT during the midterm to give us more stress. maybe we should petition the government or something cause i can't stand this much longer.

hey mr. fisher, i just got a chance to reply to your question. And honestly i don't remember where i heard it, but it did come from one of my teachers. i also remember hearing that it would not be effective this year and it would be coming later on. i really do think that that would be great, because this is so not working out for me. i am just working my butt of too get a "b" with the square root time 10 if not using the ffl thing. anyways i hope we get more traditional learning because it is vital to our conception of the foundation of physics which would be physics I. we need to be getting taught by the teacher to get a better understanding of the basic things that we need to get in this year so if we want to go to physics II we can do even better. i hope i have other people agreeing with me. i was really close to changing my class a while ago due to the i.t.s. system, but i really do like mr. fisher's attitude towards physics and his students so it's keeping me in here. but again i really would like a more "teacher-focused" class. thanks
