personally i think the 4x4 is working somewhat. i really like having math everyday, just for extra practice, and i love only balancing 4 subjects of hw. the whole concept is a good one, only that CMS has handled it badly. I have had other teachers talk about other 4x4 schools, and how they are doing ok, while CMS is still struggling (however, it is only our first year). Yes, the exams are going to be tough, but only having 4 subjects is really nice. the only other problem would be languages, and not having them for so long. However, there is no easy solution to all of this, and i think this one works out decently.

I like the 4x4 schedule for the most part. However, most students don't because they have to do the homework the night it is assigned and consequently don't have much flexibility in their studying schedule. On the bright side, weekends are a lot more fun because you only have to study and do homework for 4 or 5 classes .

I have mixed feelings on the 4x4. I like having some classes everyday, but then I don't like that I might not have them again for a whole year. For example, I have spanish first semester this year, but I might have it second semester next year. I also don't like how your semesters could be unproportional. One semester could be easier than the other. I do like that I seem to have less homework this year than last year though.

they really cant get rid of the hybrid schedule for the same reason it was made, band and chorus classes perform year 'round, debate too, and it's kinda pointless to have a class in first semester then have a huge test 4 months later (AP) so it's either hybrid or back to A-B day.
personally i like 4x4 because it's less to focus on, yea it gets rather old having spanish 4th period everyday but it will be over in a little more than a month anyway, so no worries. 4x4 works for me

So far Im not sure if I like it or not, I like the idea of it and having the same classes everyday, but I don't like the system at all. The report cards for it were just annoying, why coulcn't we have kept the old system and report cards just change when we have certain classes?

i saw the president in person at arlington national cemetary on veterans day this wknd (saturday, technically yesterday)
he wasn't that cool.
and some guy talked to the temple we visited about the coast guard and i couldn't help but think..does he know mr fisher??? i didn't get to ask him though. he was very tired.
the 4x4 is messing up my life. a day b day classes are the only ones that i am able to fully give my attention to because you get sick of seeing the same people EVERY SINGLE DAY in the block classes. variety = better.
