basically i just wanted to thank mr.fisher for all of the extra credit oppurtunities available... this is more of a suggestion for us students than it is for mr.fisher...i highly suggest everyone take advantage of the xc whenever it is given. it boosts your grade so much, in more than one way. the typical way is that you get points added on, which is given. but it also really makes you understand physics more. the more you do the better you get, and the more you enjoy it. especcially if you do xc that you enjoy, like enrichment articles (quantum physics, my personal favorite!!)

like he says, all students are A or B or not yet, if you do all the possible EC it's very possible to get a B or higher in that class, even if you're not that great at physics. of course, if you do a lot of EC and extra work youll probably learn even more anyway, thusly doing better on the test

i love how the extra credit can be both very easy, but you also have to work at it just to get an a. im still slightly confused that the only way to get an a (on contracts) is to do xc to get up from an 88. but...overall, i think mr. fisher has been doing this for a while, and he knows best

There are two types of points added to contract grades. One type is a "Quality Point". That's for doing a contract above and beyond what's expected. The other type is a "Bonus Point". That's team spirit, posting on the MB, etc. You really do not need bonus points to earn an A. 88+5 = 93 is very possible just by doing a quality job on HW, selecting contracts that help you grow as a student, etc.
