Ok, so basically i'm taking mr.fisher's advice on schoolnotes (again) and starting a new thread to give advice for the new students next semester. So just state the best advice you can think of, so we can help them out...

1. Don't want unitl the last day to finish all 9 contract (i did that once, it sucked)
2. Extra Credits are a must
3. Get on the A team asap
4. Make a good help sheet

1) do not become too confident or lazy 2) know everything before the test, and do not rely on your help sheet for all the answers
-otherwise you will do just fine

so i started the thread, now i'm going to actually respond... 1- do pq, they are always on the test, but don't neglect the book. it is a key to success 2- work with a good group in clas and don't slack off. also, work at a steady pace and don't wait until the end. 3- ignore poyun's advice. don't worry about getting on the a-team too quickly. it stresses you out (trust me, i know). just work on the contracts you have. generally, the assigned ones help just as well, if not more than the a-team contracts. 4- pay attention to the few lectures (not tangents which are normal that mr. fisher gives. they're realy helpful when it comes to solving problems. mostly, just do your work and don't procrastinate and you'll do great

okay, here it is- 5 simple rules 1. When you are working with a group, PAY ATTENTION to what you are working on because it easy to just look at a person's work and add and subract the numbers, but that doesn't help you on the test. (at all ) 2. keep doing your contracts at a steady pace-especially the physics quizzes! do not leave the PQs for the last day. 3.practice tests are really helpful. do them even if they are XC 4. last but not least- XC XC XC !! its easy and you are not gonna get more XC in any other class so take advantage! 5.HAVE FUN !!!
